Shujaat Khan, sitar Shujaat Khan was born into a family where music is a way of life. He began practicing at the age of three and by the time he was six, the child prodigy had begun giving public performances. He is the seventh in an unbroken line of the Imdad Khan Gharana. His family has made many significant contributions to the history of Indian classical music. His father and guru, Vilayat Khan, developed the Gayaki Ang, the vocal style of instrumental music. Shujaat's tours of the America's, Europe and Asia include lecture demonstrations, and master classes as well as performances which have brought him international acclaim. He combines a busy touring schedule with teaching at UCLA where he is a faculty member of the Department of Ethnomusicology.

Abhiman Kaushal, tabla Abhiman Kaushal was initiated into the art of tabla playing by his father, R. B Kaushal. Later studies were with the great Sheikh Dawood and more recently, with B. Nand Kumar. Abhiman is applauded for his rich tonality and sensitive response to the instrumentalist. He has accompanied such luminaries as Hariprasad Chaurasia, Viswa Mohan Bhatt, and Jasraj. Abhiman is also a faculty member in the Department of Ethnomusicology at UCLA
